My name is Marnie, but I have tossed around the idea of officially changing it to WindGypsy. May be some day. 
Here’s a little about me.
I am an artist; abstract paintings, jewelry, quilts and any thing else I can find time and supplies to delve into usually with the kids. We love to make clothes and alter/ re-purpose items. We knit and crochet little things mostly scarves and hats.
I used to work in animal welfare and it is never far from my heart. Our 3 kitties, Squish, Anubis and Beans, run the house. I love to learn about animal behavior and needs especially how it connects to human/ animal interaction. Although I am not vegan or vegetarian, I am realistic about the reasons people choose that life style and honor their choices.
I am a pole dancing instructor and hope to soon be a certified Groove Facilitator. SOON! I love to move and the movement has help me feel more comfortable in my skin. The lessons of both styles remind me to enjoy the time I have and that life isn’t that serious.
I have two wonderful teenagers. They have taught me many lessons in life: patience, forgiveness, love, humility, creativity, self care, sacrifice, honesty, growth, understanding, listening… too many to list here. They help me in so many ways and drive me nuts at the same time. As a single mom, there are some issues that are starting to appear that I don’t have answers for or even a clue about. A little scary.
